The micro-grid belongs to the island power generation system, which uses renewable clean energy as the main power source and diesel power generation as the auxiliary power supply mode to supply the island's residential load and a set of 50 tons of desalination system. The project is equipped with 100kWp photovoltaic, 210kW wind power, 200kW diesel engine and 960kWH lead-acid alternating battery with a total installed capacity of 510kW and a voltage level of 0.4kV.

The system is operated by Guodian Zhejiang Zhoushan Offshore Wind Power Development Co., Ltd., which was completed and put into operation in April 2011 and can be operated independently.

Leaders, colleagues, I am very happy to have this opportunity to share with you the topic of microgrid and energy storage. I think the theme of this seminar is "The application of energy storage technology in distributed energy of microgrid" is very good. It has already stored energy storage in this application. I personally did not work in the energy storage technology industry. We have been doing microgrid and distributed energy. Now, everyone is also discussing that microgrid should also be an application direction of energy storage technology. I am here to share with you the application of energy storage systems in the island power grid. There are many experts and leaders who talked about the microgrid and energy storage system. Next, I will focus on the Zhejiang Dongfushan Island microgrid project, the Luxi Island microgrid project and the Lamma Island microgrid project. These projects have encountered a lot of problems related to energy storage, involving energy storage technology.

Let me briefly talk about the role of the microgrid in the island. Microgrid may have some advantages, that is, to achieve comprehensive and complementary utilization of multiple energy sources, to ensure continuous power supply of important loads, and to solve power supply problems in remote areas, improve power supply reliability and power quality. Therefore, we have been paying attention to the microgrid and are also paying attention to the application of microgrid engineering. We are an early application of microgrid research and microgrid demonstration projects in China. The number of islands in Zhejiang ranks first in the country, and the government vigorously promotes the development of the marine economy and encourages the development of islands. Especially in the past few years, in view of the policy tensions between Diaoyu Island and Nansha, we are also consciously promoting the living and living conditions of the island residents, especially the Dongfushan Island where we live is close to the Diaoyu Islands, usually relying on diesel power to provide a small amount of lighting. Electricity, or firewood and lightwood systems, the penetration of wind and light is very low, especially in the islands of Zhejiang. I found that the islands in Zhejiang and other places have different climatic conditions and good wind and solar energy. Through the regulation of the energy storage system, the utilization rate of wind energy and solar energy can be improved, thereby reducing the startup time of the diesel generator and reducing the fuel consumption.
