GTM (B) insulated copper tube bus

With the vigorous development of the electric power industry and the rapid upgrading of the urban power grid, the substation, especially the user, has a larger and higher current at the low voltage end, and the substation is more and more compact. The original cable, copper busbar or rectangular busbar is no longer suitable.

GTM fully insulated and shielded busbars are mainly used to connect the main transformer low voltage end (35kV and below) and the outlet end of the switchgear.

1) Large current carrying capacity and low temperature rise

Due to the use of T2Y pure copper tube, the current carrying area is large, the skin effect is low, and the heat dissipation condition is good, which makes the product have the characteristics of large current carrying capacity and low temperature rise.

2) Safety and electric shock

Due to the externally-insulated and shielded capacitor divider structure, the outer shield of the busbar is grounded, and the surface of the busbar is zero potential, so that people can safely contact.

3) Unreliable from the environment and high reliability

Because the surface of the busbar is completely insulated and has zero potential, the hidden danger of phase-to-phase short circuit caused by factors such as rain, snow, ice and animals is eliminated, which greatly improves the safety of the operation of the substation.

4) Concise structure, stable earthquake resistance, free of maintenance

The allowable stress is 4-5 times of the rectangular busbar, so that the maximum support span of the busbar can reach 9 meters, the support insulator and the corresponding fittings are eliminated, the earthquake resistance is stabilized, and the land for the substation is saved.

5) Excellent insulation properties and long service life

The main insulating material is made of PTFE oriented film with the reputation of “King of Insulation”. It can maintain normal insulation performance from -200°C to +250°C and has a service life of more than 20 years.
