The three “crystal stones” landscape lights were all turned on, but the power consumption was only three or four hundred kwh per hour. It is understood that the Universiade landscape lighting system uses LED light source, energy saving up to 80%.

In the Shenzhen Universiade, the use of LED has become a major highlight. The large screen wall with a total area of ​​6,000 square meters and composed of 365 LED display screens has become the world's door to the opening ceremony of the Universiade. This "gate of the world" is also the "gate of science and technology." In order to meet the needs of the performance and the environment, the performers are required to perform on the LED screen at the opening ceremony. The screen also needs to be windproof and waterproof. These problems have been solved by Shenzhen LED companies.

The volunteers known as WeChat Angels are also the highlights of the Shenzhen Universiade. "WeChat Angel" uses the Internet, smart phone and other mobile terminals to communicate with WeChat real-time software, and provides information and consultation services for guests and ordinary citizens of the Universiade from all over the world through voice intercom and text image transmission. From the event information, venue information to traffic information and other issues, volunteers can send the answer to the inquirer in the form of text messages, pictures or web links at the first time. It is understood that this is the first time that WeChat tools have served international large-scale events.

The main torch tower of the Shenzhen Universiade also became a permanent urban landscape. During the design of the torch tower, Shenzhen City adopted a combination of independent research and development and technology introduction, and fully considered the multiple factors of torch tower cleaning and color change, turning the main torch tower into a beautiful landscape of the city.
