The report said that last year, Azerbaijan consumed 10 billion kilowatts of electricity, of which 3 billion kilowatts was used for household electricity, including 1 billion kilowatts of nighttime lighting. If half of the family night lighting fixtures use energy-saving lamps, and each lamp can save 80% of electricity, then 400,000 kilowatts of electricity can be saved. If the lighting of public facilities and enterprises is also replaced with energy-saving lamps, the power saved will be very impressive. In addition, saving electricity can reduce the consumption of fuel, coal and other power generation raw materials, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and help protect the environment.
