1, meaning

Puncture resistance is an important indicator of soft plastic film performance, that is, the performance of packaging materials against external force puncture, and its performance is characterized by "puncture resistance" or "puncture strength". In the packaging, storage, transportation and circulation of finished products packaged with soft plastic film, it is easy to be subjected to sharp objects inside the package (such as bamboo sticks, wooden sticks, bones, seasoning granules and corners of quick-frozen dumplings) or outside. Punctures, impacts, etc. of sharp objects that are often in contact (such as the hard corners of other bags). Plastic cup yogurt packaging often uses a film made of metal such as aluminum foil as a cup cover film, that is, a composite film formed of aluminum foil and other plastic films. 2, standard

The domestic test method for the puncture resistance of soft plastic packaging is mainly based on the "6.6.13 Puncture Strength" part of GB/T 10004-2008 "Plastic composite film for packaging, bag dry composite, extrusion compounding".

4.1 Test principle

According to the actual puncture direction, it is determined which side of the inner and outer surfaces of the sample faces the puncture needle, and then the sample is clamped by a special jig. The puncture needle mounted on the moving collet will move at a certain rate until the puncture sample, and the force value sensor and displacement sensor on the moving collet will accurately record the change in force value throughout the puncture.

4.2 Applicable scope of equipment

5, the test steps

(1) Five pieces of a circular sample having a diameter of 100 mm were cut from the surface of the aluminum-plastic composite film cover film by a sampler.

(2) After confirming that the puncture needle is puncture inward from the outer surface of the sample, the sample is clamped to the special jig for puncture test, the outer surface of the sample faces the direction of the puncture needle, and the clamp is fixed on the test equipment.

(3) Set test information such as test speed, displacement, and sample thickness for holding the puncture needle collet.

(4) Click the Start Test option and the test begins.

(5) The instrument automatically calculates, analyzes and produces test results.

6, test results

The puncture resistances of the five covered film samples tested were: 6.928, 7.105, 7.088, 7.216, 6.994, and the relative deviation between the results of each sample was less than 5%. According to the needs of the actual cover film during use, the puncture resistance value is suitable, which can not only facilitate the insertion of the straw when eating, but also ensure that the cover film is not easily punctured or ruptured by external hard objects.

7. Conclusion
