The TDK Group introduces new EPCOS MKP (metallized polypropylene) film capacitors for DC support and DC filter applications. The film capacitors are designed for operation up to 125°C, capacitances from 1μF to 50μF, and are available in three different voltage ratings: 630VDC, 700VDC and 840VDC.

The order numbers for the new DC-supported capacitors are B32774P* to B32778P*, and the lead pitch is 27.5mm, 37.5mm or 52.5mm, depending on the model. In order to ensure the mechanical stability of the capacitor on the PCB, we provide a four-pin version for models with a large pitch between the two legs, and increase the lead diameter of the model with a pitch of 27.5mm to 1mm. The capacitor's outer casing and filling resin are UL94V-0 compliant, and all capacitors are RoHS compliant, with high current capability and up to 23.5 ARMS.

The new EPCOS capacitors have very low equivalent series inductance (ESR) values ​​and equivalent series resistance (ESR) values, making them ideal for industrial electronic inverters and power supplies, as well as automotive DC-DC converters. .
