IR2130 driver and its application in inverter

Inverters have been widely used in many technical fields such as AC electric drive, UPS, etc. The main circuit switching devices often use fully controlled devices such as IGBT or MO SFET. The switching action of the device needs to be realized by independent driving circuit, and The power supply of the drive circuit is required to be isolated from each other (for example, a single-phase bridge inverter main circuit requires three independent power supplies, and a three-phase bridge inverter main circuit requires four independent power supplies), which undoubtedly increases the design difficulty and cost of the auxiliary power supply. At the same time, the drive circuit is complicated, which reduces the reliability of the inverter. The use of special thick film integrated driver circuit chips such as EXB840 can simplify the design of the driver circuit, but each driver chip still needs an isolated power supply, and each chip can only drive one power switching device, and the application is still inconvenient. The IR2130, a special driver chip produced by American International Rectifier Company, can drive six power switching devices of a three-phase bridge inverter circuit with only one power supply, which can make the whole drive circuit simple and reliable.
