Tannoy is also using the latest DSP chip technology compared to its competitors. Since the latest Qflex technology includes later chip technology, the components of the DSP are cheaper. Obviously, once other players release the latest version of their products, this advantage will not last long, but at this point the company is still far ahead.

All of the controllable products on the market are very complex, and Tannoy claims that the frequency controllable range of its products is far ahead. One example is that all players rely on product-linked tools. DSP algorithms for controlling drivers are quite complex, and it is difficult for installers and system designers to describe, design, and tune systems without the appropriate software interfaces.

Tannoy chose to emphasize his own control and design software, which is really designed for less complex devices, with several columns that interact in limited fashion. If you want a full 3D model, you can export the data to the Qflex beam engine to ease it. The beam engine produced in the program is exported to the column of the DSP chip via Tannoy's VNet software.
