Why did you say that, because it was a bad thing, when I tried to fly for the third time, I encountered a firmware upgrade. It took me 150M traffic, and more than 30 minutes and 20% of the aircraft's electricity. It is too uneconomical. Therefore, it is still necessary to check at home, or like to sit like a fool to upgrade the firmware, do not blame me for not reminded. Important: After the firmware is upgraded, it is best to restart the aircraft and remote control manually. In addition, many settings will be restored, so be sure to check your own settings after the upgrade, so as not to set the environment does not meet the time, no bombers. I was fortunate that I was experiencing a firmware upgrade the third time I flew. When I flew, I found a limit of 30 meters to break the novice mode. I was scared and I realized that I would initialize some of the settings after the firmware upgrade.
If there is no activation and firmware upgrade, the system will perform a self-check on the aircraft after the system is turned on normally to ensure that the aircraft's indexes are within the flight requirements.
It can be seen that when I was preparing to simulate flight indoors, there was a red reminder of the module's self-test, and there was the automatic transition of the flight mode to the indoor mode without the GPS. If it is not a simulation, be sure to check these items with a red alert. Do not ignore blind flights.
Before the flight simulation, you must be familiar with the meaning of the icons on the remote control's LCD panel. Focus on GPS signals, remote control signals. Aircraft power, altitude and distance.
Enter the simulation flight interface, in the upper left prompt promptly take off the green reminder (normal flight must also be green to take off), click the automatic takeoff hover key. I simply tested the next flight distance. The official parameters are the maximum range of 13 km (no wind environment), the maximum signal effective distance FCC: 7000 m, CE: 4000 m (no interference, no shelter), so I still don't want to fly. Too far away, hehehehe.
There are two landing icons on the interface after take-off, one is automatic landing, vertical landing at the hovering position and automatic landing. An automatic return flight will follow the preset return point and fly to the return point automatically after landing at the set safe return altitude. It is also advisable to develop good habits. Before taking off, set the departure point to the return point and set the appropriate return altitude based on the surrounding building height. The drone can be recalled automatically in case of emergency.
Automatic return and automatic landing can be cancelled at any time. During the simulation flight, the settings on these interfaces and the operation of the remote controller are all effective controls (image transmission is invalid), so the simulation flight is a very good way to get familiar with the drone. The novice will simulate flying in a lot, familiar with the operation and then go out to fly. .
